JerseyFactory.ie Launches 2026 “Essential Tweed” Jersey in Support of the Irish Injured Jockey Fund
€10 from Every Jersey Sold Donated Directly to the Fund.
Clonmel, Co. Tipperary – JerseyFactory.ie is proud to announce the launch of the 2026 Essential Tweed jersey in partnership with the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund, with €10 from every jersey sold donated directly to the Fund.
The limited-edition jersey has been designed as a tribute to Irish racing heritage, blending traditional tweed aesthetics with a modern athletic cut. Orders placed before March 1st are guaranteed for delivery ahead of the Cheltenham Festival, ensuring supporters can wear the jersey with pride during one of the biggest weeks in the racing calendar.
The initiative aims to generate meaningful financial support for injured riders while raising awareness of the vital work carried out by the Fund, which provides assistance to jockeys who have suffered serious injury in the course of their careers.
Cormac Ryan, Marketing Director of JerseyFactory.ie, said:
“Irish racing is built on courage, resilience, and community. The Irish Injured Jockeys Fund represents the very best of that community spirit. With the Essential Tweed jersey, we wanted to create something that racing fans can wear with pride — knowing that €10 from every purchase goes directly to supporting injured jockeys and their families.
Cheltenham is a huge moment in the Irish sporting calendar, and we’re proud to give supporters the opportunity to back Irish racing in a way that genuinely makes a difference.”
Following Cheltenham, the campaign will continue through the spring festival calendar, including the Grand National meeting at Aintree and the Punchestown Festival, with JerseyFactory.ie also holding stock at the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund stall at Punchestown.
The Essential Tweed jersey is available for pre-sale now at www.jerseyfactory.ie, with guaranteed pre-Cheltenham delivery for orders placed before March 1st.
